is the daughter of Wieland and Gertrud Wagner and has studied drama, music and literature in Berlin, Munich and the United States. She currently lives in Paris and Vienna and works as an author, taking part in conferences and symposia and participating with regularity in radio programmes in Europe and further afield. She writes and lectures about Vienna at the beginning of the 20th century, the history of Wagner and, in particular, Bayreuth.
