Essayist and literary critic. Professor of Rhaeto-Romanic culture and literature at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and at the University of Zürich (1985-1997). Head of the cultural section of Swiss Television in Zürich (SF DRS) (2000-2003). Author of numerous books and articles, including topics relating to Switzerland's cultural diversity.
