Fabio F. Rizi moved to Canada with his family in 1958, and worked as 'Italian librarian' in the Toronto Public Libraries between 1962 and 1996. In the meantime, he studied History at the University of Toronto. In 2000, he obtained a PhD at York University in the same city on the subject of Benedetto Croce.
His award-winning study Benedetto Croce and Italian Fascism appeared in 2003 and is currently being translated into Italian. Rizi is now working on a new book, whose title will be Benedetto Croce and the Birth of the Italian Republic. |
